David Carey - President
David started his construction career in the Petroleum Industry in the early 1980's working for a steel construction company that built fueling facilities for several of the major oil companies. As an account manager, his responsibilities included the Modular Convenience Store Roll-Out program for Chevron, Shell and BP. During his career in the steel construction industry he was promoted to General Manager, overseeing the Field Operations, Production, Project Management and Sales Staff.
During the mid 1990's David left the Petroleum Industry for a construction career in the Retail Industry, working on the owners side as the Director of Construction for Hollywood Video. During his career at Hollywood Video, David managed the Development Team which rolled-out 300 new stores annually and up to 900 concept stores over an 18 month period averaging an annual development budget of $100,000,000.
In 2005 David moved to Tennessee
and bought a 1/3rd interest in FS Construction Group and became President. In 2006 David and business partner, Paul Ironmonger purchased the remaining 2/3rd's interest in FS Construction Group.
Having worked on Roll-Out programs for both the owners and contractor's side, David brings a unique perspective to FS Construction Group and has a clear understanding of the obstacles and requirements of each. |
